Sharon McManus is our Senior Consultant and has worked for Chapman & Associates since 1990.  She has worked in the clinical nursing field with specialties of surgical and coronary intensive care, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics since 1977.

Mrs. McManus has a comprehensive background in fee scheduling for several states, ICD-9 Coding, Quality assurance, Utilization review and hospital audits.  Sharon manages our hospital pre-authorization and concurrent review program.  Mrs. McManus has worked as a Case Management Consultant for twelve years and successfully completed the Case Management Certification exam in 1993. 

Sharon has been a member of the Colorado Division of Medical Cost Containment (Colorado Department of Labor & Employment) Task Force for Rule XVIII changes 1997-1998 and the Division of Workers' Compensation Dispute Resolution Section Nurse Case Manager Task Force in 1998-1999.
