Mindy Chapman is founder of Chapman & Associates. She combines ten years of intensive care unit nursing background with fifteen years experience in medical cost containment for Workers' Compensation and Auto Insurance. Mindy has experience with medical fee schedules in numerous states.
Mindy has managed difficult medical cases for dozens of insurance companies and self-insured clients. Her case management skills were recognized in both 2002 and 2003 with the prestigious Nurse Case Manager of the Year Award by the Colorado Professional In Worker's Compensation organization.
Ms. Chapman is a Registered Nurse maintaining current licensure in the States of Colorado and Nebraska. She is a Certified Case Manager, per the National examination, taken in 1993. Mindy pursues continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and enhance her professional skills.
Ms. Chapman has been a member of the Colorado Self-Insured Association, Professionals in Workers' Compensation and the Colorado Rehabilitation Insurance Nurses Group. Mindy served on the Board of Directors of Professionals in Workers' Compensation for six years, including 3 years as secretary. She has been a member of the Colorado Division of Medical Cost Containment (Colorado Department of Labor and Employment) task force for Rule XVIII changes in 1997-1998 and the Division of Workers' Compensation Dispute Resolution section Nurse Case Manager task force in 1998-1999.
Ms. Chapman has also served as treasurer for the School Board at Peace With Christ Christian School from 1998-2001 and as officer for Grandview Boys Lacrosse Booster Club Board.
Ms. Chapman has experience as an expert witness.
